MEGAN
is that girl you see surfing with the guys and going to the movies with the girls. She's a daring tomboy with just enough down home goodness and sass to be sexy. The many facets of her personality shine in her creation of characters from comedy to drama. The discipline required for her training as a dancer and overall athlete, bleed into her work as a trained and serious and trained actor.
A dancer since the age of three, her professional career began at the age of ten in equity theatre in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. Her adolescent years on stage and in front of a camera were her training grounds in commercial, print, theatre and musical theatre, performing internationally and regionally, until she decided to relocate to L.A. to pursue an acting career immediately following her high school graduation. Her pursuit has taken her in more directions than she could have planned, but could not have planned it any better.
Her continuous training in her acting includes being an alumni of
The American Academy of Dramatic Arts,
and
The Meisner Center
. She currently studies with Stuart Rogers at
Stuart Rogers Studios
and at Improv Olympic in Hollywood. "Actors act, and in between work I still have to act." She is also a member of
Swordfights Inc
, a stunt team who create fight sequences for film, tv and theatre.
Her versatility as an actress and wide range of skills and talents have led to many challenging and diverse job experiences in T.V., film, documentary, commercials, print, live shows and motion capture for clients including Lenscrafters, Nike, Adidas, Asics, Sprint, Marvel, and Ipod. She has made episodic appearances on shows such as "Leverage," "Shake It Up," "The Resistance" and "Warehouse 13." and has worked in numerous indie films including "Wasteland," the action-packed, post-apocalyptic account of a man
who has lost everything and what he will endure for a little piece of mind. And more recently she plays the sassy and de-virginizing role of Kelly in this fall's feature film, "Battle B-Boy."
Her professionalism, hard work and love for her craft make her an asset to any set and her honesty and truth are the basis for her creativity.
In 2010, she and two of her colleagues founded
AIM:Artists in Motion
,
a charity support group in which artists come together to give support to local charitites. "With this charitable vehicle I can fulfill my desire to help fix the problems within my community while giving other artists inspiration to continue creative expression."
She is also a working producer and writer with her film production company,
Five Fingers Media.
